Client Services

Location: 55 Mary Street West, Lindsay, Ontario
Reporting to: Manager, Client Services

Position Summary
The Client Services representative is responsible for answering customer questions and helping to solve customer problems associated with PlanPlus’ software.  The successful candidate must be able to answer phones, respond to emails, and testing of PlanPlus’ innovative software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update assigned tickets
  • Complete work tasks within timeframes given
  • Unit and system testing
  • Self-starter
  • Be a team player and performer
  • Complete special projects
  • Perform customer deployments, as required
  • Follows escalation process, as required
  • Provide input into enhancements and customer change requests
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution of issues

Knowledge and Skills

  • Client-facing experience
  • Understanding and knowledge of financial terms would be beneficial (1-2 years)
  • Prior experience in a software development firm would be an asset
  • Experience supporting a web-based application would be an asset

Education

  • University degree in Computer Science or college diploma or equivalent

Client Services & Trainer – Bilingual

Location: Montreal or Laval, Quebec or Toronto, Ontario
Reporting to: Manager, Client Services

Position Summary:

The Client Services representative is responsible for answering customer questions and helping to solve customer problems associated with PlanPlus’ software. The selected candidate must be able to answer phones, respond to emails, and test PlanPlus’ innovative software in both languages, English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of issues
  • Create and update assigned support tickets
  • Complete work tasks within timeframe given
  • Perform unit and system testing
  • Follow escalation process in dealing with support tickets
  • Provide input into enhancements and customer change requests
  • Deliver training, in French
  • Able to work flexible hours to support Western Canada work hours (i.e. up to 8:00 p.m. ET) and participate in 24/7 Live Chat coverage
  • Complete special projects

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Full bilingual proficiency in English and French
  • Self-starter
  • Client-facing experience
  • Be a team player and performer
  • Understanding and knowledge of financial terms (2-3 years)
  • Understanding of life goals as part of financial planning
  • Prior experience in a software development firm would be an asset
  • Experience supporting a web-based application would be an asset

Education:

  • University or college education in Finance or Administration
  • Financial Planning designation would be an asset

Business Analyst

Location: 55 Mary Street West, Lindsay, Ontario
Reporting to: Manager, Client Services

Position Summary

The Business Analyst will become a key member of the team.  The BA will be responsible for working directly with clients on business requirement, authoring use cases, assisting with product roadmap discussions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strong, proven experience with software development in the financial sector
  • Complete work tasks within timeframes given
  • Self-starter to learn complex applications
  • Be a team player and performer
  • Strong change management skills (communications, process change, training preparation)
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge and Skills

  • Client-facing experience
  • Proven knowledge of financial terms
  • Prior experience in a software development firm would be an asset
  • Experience supporting a web-based application would be an asset

Education

  • CFP designation would be an asset
