PlanPlus Global, the world‐leading combined financial planning, risk tolerance profiling and suitability firm, today announces and congratulates the winners of the Global Financial Planning Awards 2018 competition.
The awards were launched six years ago to increase understanding of the important role played by financial planners around the world.
Recognizing the global reach of PlanPlus, the awards invites entries from financial planners in the three regions in which the firm operates – the Americas, Asia and Europe/Australia. Winners receive a paid‐for place at the 2018 FPA Annual Conference – this year being held in Chicago on October 2 – where they will be presented with their awards.
Jason Pereira of Toronto, Canada placed first for the Americas region, with Lovaii Navlakhi of India winning for Asia, and Crystal Bobir of Australia coming out on top for Europe/Australia.
“This year’s competition was exciting,” said Awards Chair, John Page. “The scores for the top three winners in each region were within one point of each other, making it an extremely close contest. A first‐time competitor took top honors for the Europe/Australia region, with returning competitors winning the Americas and Asia regions. The overall quality and depth of the plans for the finalists in all three regions was extraordinary,” said Page.
“We launched the Awards to showcase financial planners doing professional, fiduciary‐level planning while transforming their clients’ lives,” said Shawn Brayman, CEO of PlanPlus Global. “We had absolutely no idea the snowball effect that the Global Awards would have on advisors worldwide. The response from countries like Australia, Malaysia, and India has been incredible.” said Brayman.
“This competition provides financial planners with an unparalleled opportunity to test their skills and service offerings against some of the best in the field from around the world,” said Jason Pereira. “The experience is one that has not only brought validation and opportunity but has also provided me with valuable feedback that has made me a better planner.”
